Casa had just won a belt when FLoyd was leaving the division, those guys were nobodies when FLoyd was at 130. The big fighters at 130 during FLoyd's time were Genaro Hernandez (the lineal champ), Corrales (the next big thing, a guy that got in many top 10 p4p lists), and Manfredy.
Imagine we could have been talking about how Floyd avoided Baldomir now!!!!! That sure would be funny!!!
The only division he hasn't beaten one of the top guys in was at junior welterweight and that was because Cotto or Hatton wouldn't get in with him.
Cotto, like Mayweather, doesn't have Hatton or Tszyu on his 140 resume but gets absolutely no **** for it. :huh
You said here that he was the top welterweight contender... http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showpost.php?p=5426856&postcount=26
So let me get this stright. Mayweather comes up from 140 and agrees to fight Judah who holds the WBA, IBF and WBA (super) championships at 147. Judah loses to Baldomir. A result most think was a fluke. Mayweather honers the agrement and fights Judah. Than fights Baldomir who may not be the man at welterweight but he was at least the man who beat the man (Judah). Yet some how Mayweather should have fought an ESPN main eventer at best in Margarito instead of Baldomir?
Floyd is the undisputed champion of all mythical fights...I mean why even bother fighting them in real life?
