That Martinez KO was sickening. He landed and walked away without even watching PW fall over. He must have known it was a KO punch as soon as he threw it.

 

he knew it was a KD, he walked away looked back, saw him flat on the floor then realized it was a KO. (he started running to the corner to celebrate when he knew it was a KO)

 

I like that KO, I think the left hook as he walked away was classy, or at least added class to the KO if that makes sense. Put it this way, without that left it would not have looked as great as it does.

 

What is great about it IMO is that Rocky was behind on the score cards, late in the fight, 13th round. He carried his power late, landed the flush right and knocked Walcott not only out, but it was like it was in super slow motion how he collapsed to the canvas. walcott was literally out cold.

You dont hear that many great things about marciano. ESB thinks he would lose all the fantasy matchups. However you think of him he had some of the best punching power p4p in the history of the sport.

Most dramatic and perfect KO ever. Awsome set up, delivery and power. Duran's own calibre and status makes it all the more impressive.

Martinez KO'ed WILLS in 2 with a tremendous shot sounds like a shot gun.
