Very good fight for the fans and Clev. I hope it has a good undercard but is not ppv.

Don't know to be honest, this seems to be an agreed date though so I assume FW and Sky have come to an agreement.

It's not PPV material if we're being honest and I think Frank Warren is trying to build interest in Cleverly.

yes but if he has DeGale vs Sartison, Murray and Brook on the card it would be.

Braehmer is a Southpaw with excellent power, he can be lazy in fights and also not the greatest under pressure but he has more than enough power in my view to make this very interesting should Cleverly have any problems around the whiskers. Braehmer was touted as being a potential superstar but spells in prison and various scrapes with the authorities have meant he has achieved the minimum many thought he would achieve and that is being just a decent world champion.

Braehmer is quite clever with his southpaw lead often turning it into a power punch simply by pulling away from the oppositions lead, his boxing brain is sound and this is a good fight, providing he comes to win and is not all consumed with yet his latest law problems.

Don't think that matters. double world title card would sell sell.

"Cleverly-Braehmer on April 2 at Wembley Arena and looks like Murray-Mitchell on the undercard. This is not Box Office and a new Sat Fight Night benchmark."

    Good.

Clev hasn't (to my knowledge) headlined a free-to-air show yet, so to jump to headlining a PPV would be a tad premature, I think.

He headlines a few Friday Fight Nights when he was Commonwealth champ, plus fought McIntosh on ITV4 for the British title. But yeah, he needs to be on regular Sky before making the jump to PPV. Just doesn't have the profile yet.
