good stuff for trussy, he's a local lad round our way and he had his last 2 fights literally 100 meter's from my house at eston sports centre over the road.........

good luck trussy lad, hope you can get back on track!

Trussy is classy but his lack of power and his marking up could be a problem in this fight, Sykes has gone for a boxer rather than a puncher in his first fight back from Buckland and hardly surprising.

Takes over the McCloskey Mar 5th bill that has been called off due to his date with destiny.

Good fights Sykes late stoppage due to cuts would be my guess but not before he loses the first two rounds to the classy Truscott.

Sykes has no credibility as champ til he fights Buckland.

    :yep

Which he won't, for a very long time.

He'll have a Lonsdale for keeps before they make that one.

Typical Hudder ducking the harder fight.

Good luck to Truscott in this one. I am certainly going along to this one, Sykes is always nice to watch and this fight should be very good.

As a Sykes fan I am very disappointed with this :fire

The three fights I want are Johanneson, Crolla II and Buckland II.

We all know Burns ducked Sykes last year ;)

I do like Truscott, hes a tough kid and should be able to give Sykes a good fight.

What is the latest news on Bucklands next fight? Haven't heard a peep since he won Prizefighter and that was a good 3 months ago. Would hate to see his career stagnate in 2011.

he needs to just keep fighting and force his hand at getting a shot at sykes. strange he has not got a title fight off the back of prizefighter because most of the recent winners have got one.

scandalous this, what has truscott done to deserve shot.

Crolla without a doubt deserves a shot

As does Buckland and in my opinion both would beat sykes.

    Maloneys a joke!!

Hard to fathom as I'm pretty sure Truscott pulled out of an eliminator last year after bids had been won
