yeah, was a bit scabby really, eddie hearn pulled him up on it and he apologised. mccloskey has essntially been left with the £75 and £100 ticks. it don't think it will really matter in the long run as mccloskey is a big draw anyway (as i always argued in previous threads) and wio shift the tickets. plus the fans travelling over from ireland want decent tickets for this one and no one seems bothered with the £40 and £55 ticks.

Boxing 4 Eva - just on the previous issue, cou you talk us through the weakness's you see in mccloskey, cheers...

they dont seem to be selling the tickets to the upper tier of the MEN, are they just gonna put all the mccloskey fans up there?

 

If I had the money I would love to be ring side as long as the undercards are good and its not a salita performance!

Any one got any idea who the undercards are?

 

Someone mentioned Jamie Kavanagh on the Irish Boxing thread. He is in the Wild Card gym with Khan and an Irish prospect. The perfect fighter for Team Khan and Team McCloskey to be on the card.

 

McCloskey's Trainer: We Have To Target Khan's Temples

When Paul McCloskey (22-0, 12KOs) steps into the ring on April 16, he will have knockout intentions on his mind. His trainer, John Breen, doesn't agree with the popular opinion that Amir Khan (24-1, 17KOs) has a suspect chin. Breen has been studying tapes of Khan, but in particular he's been looking at several fights where Khan has either been rocked or knocked down.

The one thing Breen noticed is the exact area where Khan is most vulnerable and that area is not his chin. Based on his review, Breen feels the temples of Khan are usually where the damage started in fights where the current WBA champion was dropped. Breen expects McCloskey to walk away with Khan's title at the MEN Arena in Manchester.

"This is a fight we wanted for a long time. I can see chi_nks in Amir’s style. Things that will enable Paul McCloskey to take him apart. People are saying that Amir has proved he hasn’t got a glass chin. I agree with that he hasn’t a glass chin but his temples are not too solid. Anytime he has been put down he has been caught flush around the temples. The punches Paul McCloskey will throw are the ones that will cause Amir problems and if Paul catches him right he can hurt and stop Amir," Breen told irish-boxing.com.
