I think the same. I want Bute to step up more than anybody. Far more.

Laffie, how am I a hater when all I'm pointing out is that Bute's level of opposition since capturing the title in 2007, has been as weak if not weaker than that of Ottkes in the same timeline of holding his title.

It's been horrible, and Magee followed after a Brinkley fight and a 5 month rest is acceptable? HOW?!

I am still not decided on where I place him in his division. I would love to see him fight Dirrell or Froch for varying reasons. I think that Froch is one of thee top middleweights right now and one tough S.O.B.and Direll is the best boxer of the division. I really don't question his chin but rather the quality of his opposition..though the super six may be responsible for that.

People hating countries are just plain stupid and immature.

You'll probably never realize that....that's the sad part of it.

What bothers me the most is that people like you are probably really happy to be that ******ed.

    Be patient

His next fight will be a real one.

He has a contract of 3 fights with Showtime for a lot of money. Don't worry.

But this forum is a complete joke.

everybody is looking the opposition to judge a fighter. There is no analysis from many people here.

You can see that bute is a great fighter just by judgjing his style and his offense.

The question is legit: Who in the world can take a punch from Bute to the liver ?

All the haters please: Who can take this shot ? come on who ?

do you really think that Froch will take this shot no matter how his courage

Aint hating, you got Sam Langford, a top10 ATG.

    David Lemieux, a hot prospect.

I am not hating on Canada, but I am quoting Lennox Lewis, and I am tired of the Lucian Bute hype.

    :rofl
Caveman Andrade put Lucian Bute on his back, imagine what an actual boxer of class like Carl Froch would do to him? :rofl

Now you're talking rationally. That's not your usual way. Saying that Bute should step up is a different thing than saying he's worth nothing. There is also a difference between saying he has to step up and saying that it's his fault.

While I agree that Bute's resume is very weak, and his next fight is a joke, I would not go so far as to call him a glass jawed fraud. He is still a good fighter and one of the best at his weight, chin issues or not. Not that SMW is very deep but still if he actually steps up he has a good chance to make some real noise.

    Time is running out however.

Yes, and your point is what? He needed two fights to get by a C-level plodder?

    My are point?

My point is, he's not fought anyone, he's even been decked by a C-level plodder and has been holding onto a title for over three years.

He's not done **** for the sport, and people call him the best SMW out there, its a ****ing joke.
