    Because they're poor and have nothing else that will earn them that kind of money... and because they have a massive talent pool and you only see the ones that are tough enough to succeed out of the thousands that try.

    I forgot to add:

    The only reason why there is no big name Mexican champion now, is because Affirmitve Action is being given to steroid cheaters like Pac, Mosley, etc. to give them a chance to be in the limelight, while politics is stalling the careers of Mexican fighters like Soto, Angulo, Margarito, etc. so that other foreigners are given "a chance".

    The only way these foreigners (Pac, Mosley, etc.) can compete with Mexicans is they have to use Steroids to beat a Mexican fighter.

    No. that's how they are raised in the GYM as pups from day one, as a rule: they get hit and you don't run.Yes. they use defense and skillz but must accept

    that they will get cracked and handle it, if you can't, then this BOXING is not for you. If you do run you is GAY and shun by the aztec clan.

    The Mexicans are easily the toughest...culturally, it's a sign of cowardice to fight like a Floyd Mayweather, in a defensive style...the Mexican style of fighting is infighting like a Jose Luisd Castillo, Rafa Marquez, and Julio Cesar Chavez are prime examples.

    While it's true that the Mexican style is not to retreat, the fact is, just like Russia, they have a massive talent pool. You'll get tons of mexican boys lining up outside boxing gyms with only a small percentage being allowed in to train. Only the toughest will last, and they will train with an intensity that better off people will not because they are poor and have few other options.

    Any middle class person could train with the mexican mantra of not backing down, but few would have the mental toughness to go the extra mile constantly because their parents/family/children need the money to put food on the table.

    How many people here voting for one race or country are not from that country. I'll bet 99% of people voting for mexicos are mexicans.

    :hat

    I said the US before, but now that I've had a break and chance to think, I think I'd like to change my vote to;

    CUBA!!!

    Cuba breeds the most skillful and toughest boxers in the world! There would be even more if it were not for the stupid racist US embargo.
