Do you think it was wise for macklin to fight you at lm?
By the way Jamie I was live at your last fight and was gutted for you. I'd never seen you live before and it was a privilege to say I saw you live before you retired. Looking forward to seeing thr book though.

  2. Pacquiao doesn't need to struggle to make weight any more. He's still the same size as he was at lighweight/light welterweight.

This is kind of my point. He could drop to lw, and lose nothing. If anything he'd be knocking guys out cold at that weight.
He's the other end of the scale to boxers who struggle like **** to make weight. He's a freak of nature

  4. I agree to a certain extent but all he's doing is fighting bigger men than himself (I'm not belittling that by the way).

I'd have preferred him to have stayed at LW and cleaned up before moving on to LWW and doing the same there. I reckon only Marquez could have given him any kind of real fight at those weights. It's a shame Pac/Marquez 3 never happened.

I still think PAC could go to lw and clean up now if he wanted to.

Obviously in hindsight no, as he was so big, but they must have been confident he could make it safely and if he'd have chinned me he'd have looked like a monster!

Gutted you only got to see my last one, probably not the best of my fights to have watched!!:good

Think they were banking on him carrying stamina down the weight with him.
I seen plenty if your fights in the tv though mate, but nothing beats it live! I'm sure you know most people were gutted when you lost. I went with 2 other boxing mates and we were stunned into silence. But the fights and memories you have given us fight fans will never be forgotten! Make sure you come on and let us know when the books coming out!
