Because floyd probably has the best conditioning in boxing, and he has a great chin. And floyd knows what it takes to survive big shots, hes got hit before. And yes taking a big shot by mosley is pretty impressive, since a guy like margarito who has a great chin got knocked out by mosley

Floyd does have a good chin but your logic is somewhat flawed. It took about 200 flush full power punches to knock him out. If Shane hit Floyd 200 times on the chin he would end up in the morgue. Floyd's chin is good, but it's nowhere near the Margarito league (at least the pre-Mosley Tony)

Nobody caught FLoyd on his chin for a long time,
so his surprise was so huge he couldn't even go down
.... his legs were too much stunned.

Margarito took that single shot way better. But the difference is Mayweather could adjust so he didnt eat one of those right hands again.

Also those big grant gloves help. I think Mosley wore Everlast against Margarito.

Lets see how he takes an 8oz Reyes from Manny. Different sport.

The reason I rate mayweather taking that flush punch from mosley the way he did is because mayweather himself is not use to getting hit. He himself hardly ever has his chin tested, unlike people like Pac, Marquez, Cotto, Margarito, Mosley e.t.c . funny thing is the more you get hit the more you get use to taking hard shots or not.

For floyd to take a shot like that and not take a knee shows his will power, probably thought about the haters. lol

I mean he probably hadn't felt a punch like that for 5 years so how did he know his chin would stand firm when he needed it to. Will power that's how.

Mosley backed off, fearing floyd would counter with something deadly if he was wreckless swing home run shots

Nah. There were about 3 moments in each Castillo fight where he got caught with something big and took them well. He also got caught in fights against Jesus Chavez, DLH, Judah, took them fine. He was only ever hurt against Corley and Mosley. I dont think he was hurt against Judah, just got caught with a good punch and took a step back.

That shot wasn't on the chin, it was to his temple. That means he was dazed, but what was funny was how he was laughing while he was hurt. Floyd is an entertainer.

He gets caught flush to the dome, he's dazed and hanging on, the crowd is going nuts wanting Mosley to finish him off, and he's laughing while recovering.

I don't recall him laughing. I do remember him making a smug look with his face and shaking his head as if to say, "you didn't hurt me." Thats why I don't really think he was all that hurt. The shot was just a hard shot that surprised him, and shook him up, but his head was clear the whole time.

Conditioning and the fact he has a good chin. He was shaky, no doubt about it, but he recovered by round 3.
