Was looking at the scedule for tonight's fights and Camatcho jr. caught my eye after his "You say I got KTFO?" moment against up and coming powerpuncher Lemieux. He now took a slightly easier opponent -probably building confidence and an even more padded record- in 14-5-1 Juan Astorga. But then I saw this; David Rodriguez This content is protected  against Matt Hicks 13-5, 12KO's in a HW bout. So I thought that must be a typo or something, because how is it possible I never heard from this guy and having such a record. Well here's the obvious answer; http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=47041&cat=boxer Bum bashing galore! :bbb Looks like another Tye Fields kinda guy to me. Or am I wrong and does this guy really have something?
There are a lot of heavyweight guys with records like that, b/c they can pad their records with out of shape light heavyweights. There were two heavyweights in particular who were undefeated up until their late 30s and never bothered to step up. Cant remember their names now.
King Hippo Chris Arreola is considered a good American Heavyweight. Lets put it that way. You cant underestimate any American HW prospect as not having the talent to compete against the top American Hw's.
I don't understand that... certainly today there's a lot of money to be made against mediocre opposition and even a title shot if someone bothers to fight (and beat) 2 top 30 guys. it's not that hard anymore.
Haha, heard about that Malik Scott dude before... The second one is hilarious, and pretty sad actually :yep
I would love to see a fight between Dave Rodriguez and Chris Arreola...it could start a rivalry between hispanic fighters from CA and TX...i think it would be great for boxing.
