Fifteen rounds. Physicality versus resume, who takes it?

Langford, unless he is wearing the cuffs.

    jan,

the closest i could think of physically to vitali was big bill tate, who langford seemed to get the better of more often than not. how do you see it going? i don't reckon it'd be a knockout myself

Too short for Vitali to reach. Power is definitely there.

    Langford

Tough to call in many ways.

Langford would try to use his footwork to present Vtally with a mobile target, go to the body and try to feint him into leaving himself open to counters. In some ways this could be rminiscent of the Sam Mcvea fights despite the obvious size difference between McVea and Klitschko. Langford would probably prevail because VK wouldn't have the inside game to neutralize him.

A lot could depend on how good VKs chin really is and Langford would provide a good test of it.

I rank Langford #1 or 2 all time... however...

If a relative ham-n-egger and puny pugilist like Jack Johnson can wipe the floor with him, he has no chance here. No chance. A merciful stoppage after 8.

Comparing Tate to Vitali either exhibits extraordinary bias or extraordinary ignorance about what really happens in a ring.

:!: i'm no big fan of vitali and think he'd do reasonably well but langford is better proven against better opposition. case closed

A snooze fest. With Klitschko waiting for the smaller Langford to come to him and lead so that he may counter and Langford waiting for Vitali to do the same.

That's fine, I just feel Langford thrashes Vitali. Langford would find a way to get under Vitali's long arms, and just thrash Vitali. I like the K-Bros but am not a HUGE fan of their's, Langford would be able to dent either Brother's chin... and don't even get me started on Wlad!
