At least the guys mentioned are genuine top level fighters even with their faults. Froch is certainly a faulty fighter but he still beats guys up

Its another story with Calzaghe, his resume is full off reality tv show contestants

The thing about analysing a fighters record is that it is also susceptible to criticism in one way or another, and i knew this before i made my judgements, what the point is, is that despite fighters having certain issues on their skill level they are still considered top fighters in their respective division. Froch himself isnt the most gifted fighter of all time but he beat all the guys mentioned (apart from kessler). Thats what seperates him from alot of fighters today and joe calzaghe

There is a reason Calzaghe didnt want any part of Froch for so many years, Froch is not a Manfredo, Ashira or a Lacy, who are short and limited to swings. Froch is taller, alot rangier and more difficult to get into his inside because of his jab.

Calzaghe was not the kind that would outbox, he would outwork his opponent, and Froch can match Calzaghe for stamina. Froch has shown himself to carry his power the full distance.

Also Froch has alot more power than Kabery Salem, Byron Mitchell or a 42 year old Hopkins whom had Calzaghe on ***** street.

Anyone that thinks this would be a walk in the park for Calzaghe dont know **** about boxing. Like the following:-

It would be a UD to Calzaghe with him taking most of the rounds, Calzaghe is too smart for someone like Froch.

Tell me some examples of "smarts" Calzaghe has shown in the ring?

At the end of the day this is a fantasy match up because Calzaghe was too ***** to fight Froch in the first place, so its just all opinions. I just think this wont be an easy fight for either fighter. And disagree with the likes of those who think this would be similar to the Lacy beatdown.

IMO, Froch vs Calzaghe would have been a classic, both come forward fighters, both with good workrates and both with heart. Also both try and make the fight, I think Froch use of range and his superior physical strength would help him edge a tough UD. But this is all opinions and speculations.

Plenty of examples but I'll only use one. Calzaghe outsmarted the smartest guy in boxing 'Hopkins'

And he was never *****, the Kessler fight proved that and Froch was a no body back then.

    Calzaghe never outsmart no one.

Calzaghe wasnt the type to outbox, he was more of the kind to outwork. And that is exactly what he did he just continued to thrown flurries of slaps on a 43 year old. And the 43 year old gassed, who then asked for a rematch but Calzaghe didnt want it.

Calzaghe was no Mayweather or Hopkins who have shown ring intelligence on the highest level. Calzaghe was smart outside the ring but not in the ring.

Calzaghe showed his smarts by not getting in the ring with Froch. Calzaghe didnt have the balls, and accused Froch of being a nobody but then he had no problem fighting the likes of

Manfredo, Ashira, Tocker Pudwill, Jimenez, Sobot.......

Calzaghe pussied out of one of the biggest all british showdowns that could have been made.

Calzaghe UD, Froch would have put a good fight though. Agree with those who say that Froch will end up with a better resume eventually but talent wise Calzaghe was on another level.

Wrong! Taylor was beating Froch until he gassed in the last RD.

Taylor is good fighter sponging off his close victories over Hopkins - a guy 13 years older than him. Without those wins he has nothing; he struggled to a draw against Winky, struggled to a SD against C. Spinks., got hammered by Pavlik.

What did Froch do to Taylor that was unique? Pavlik beat Taylor more convincingly before Froch and AA beat Taylor more convincingly after Froch.

Everyone with a clue knows that JC would have thrashed Froch.

Hell, a faded Kessler managed to beat Froch. JC may not have even lost a round while he took Froch to school.
