You mean your info is based on what other people say, rather than what you have discovered for yourself? :good

Just to clarify, when I said press, I mean overhead press, not bench.

Yeah and I also believe them when they say that water is made out of 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen atoms, even though I haven't discovered it for myself. Do you think they might be wrong? It's called science mr. Ant-sized brain man.

i always thought the muscles needed "Some" time to rest/repair, i agree.

so left your against weight training everyday through soreness?

Lefty was referring strength training, I was referring to hypertrophy training.

    Hypertrophy Rules -

But you can train through soreness whatever your goal. Why would you not? I can give you plenty of hypertrophy routines that are 4-5 days a week, some twice a day 4 days a week.

i was under the impression and many articles claim the muscles grow and repair while resting.

    your thoughts?

nice basic strength routine one-punch. Dips work all the same muscles and more than the bench press - so that's a good substitute. Bench pressing should only be left for bodybuilders and competitive powerlifters (in my opinion).

Since you have two weighted pullups days have you considered switching one of them to a bodyweight day and working towards doing a one-armed chinup or even replacing pullups with weighted rows just for a different exercise?
