Could Pac-Mosley end up looking like Pac-Oscar?

I expect Manny to stop Shane, but I expect there to be fireworks before that happens, and a couple of Mosley rounds.

A friend of mine think this fight is going to look much like Pac-Oscar, a hardcore one-sided beatdown of epic proportions.

Do you think it will be this dominant for Pac? (I don't, not quite) :bbb

No way, Shane will still be live at the weight. (at least compared to Oscar)

We'll never see a Pac-Oscar again, unless Haye moves to 160 and fights Martinez.

......Yep, unfortunately. Styles make fights and Pacquiao of now would still annihilate the Mosley of a few years ago. Mosley can't deal with that speed at his age anymore and it will make a difference in the fight. Mosley is fast and hits hard but he won't find much fighting someone with Pacquiao's brilliant footwork and top footspeed. Mosley won't know what will hit him as Pacquiao's too fast, quick for him in the handspeed and footspeed departments.

Mosley has no legs left, so it's entirely possible.

I picture it to be worse. As old and shot De La Hoya looked against Pac, those "symptoms" did not appear (at least to me) until the middle of the 5th round. Shane looked gassed very early in his last 2 fights.

No, I think Shane will make it a much more competitive fight than what most people are expecting.

Once Mosley's gas tank runs out , yes very much so , whats disconcerning for Mosley fans or any observers hoping for a competetive Mosley show is that from round 3 against Floyd and round 5 against More Shane was struggling physically , so much so he almost looked all out of gas and finished both fights on pure heart .

If this happens against Manny he wont be finishing the fight at all , and you have a Pac Oscar style situation , a tired old pro in there against a wrecking machine capable of fighting 36 rounds at a freakish pace without ever letting up .

I said from the start Pacquiao TKO 8 and im sticking with it , Mosley has no defensive mode , he has no just hang in there mode , and i think he's gonna need one to see the distance out against Manny i honestly do .

No. Shane has never been stopped and I firmly believe he will make it 12 rounds with Pacman. I think Pac will win comfortably, but not by KO.

Mosley brings a right hand, clinching, and handspeed to the table. He's not no Floyd Mayweather or Pernell Whitaker, but he can fight off the backfoot.

Unlike the marg fight, I actually want to see this one. This is the fight most people don't want to see, but I think the tools Mosley have will make it interesting while it lasts.

emmanuel isn't known as a jabber, but Mosley doesn't keep his hands up and has always been controlled by a jab. Let see how this plays out in the fight.

I can see it descending into something like that rather than Cotto-Pac or Hatton-Pac. I can see Shane's right hand playing a bigger role than Oscar's left hook but it won't make much of a difference. Corner stoppage late rounds or referee stoppage after Mosley has been warned multiple times that the fight will be stopped.

If nothing else, I guess this fight could help him learn to fight out of a clinch under the biggest lights.

I'm actually surprised many people are giving Mosley a chance. Based on hearing of his last fight and seeing the fight before.....he has no chance. I like Shane but add in the disadvantage of speed and angles and Pacquiao will slaughter him. I'll try to see the Mora-Mosley fight if I can but that won't change my mind. Mosley needs a miracle.
