marco antonio barrera in their first fight was coming off something like a 9 win streak with wins over fighters such as kevin kelly, johny tapia and naseem hamed.

Has Pacquiao ever faced a guy who wasn't past-prime, beat up, weight drained or after one last paycheck?

David Diaz even though he sucked he was prime and coming off a career best

Clottey in at second though he lost to Cotto I thought he won

    Oscar was at the end

Margo had a beating and a lay off

    Cotto took 2 beatings

Hatton 3rd got beat by Floyd looked awful vs Lazcano but got a great win over Paulie

Cotto, easily. Cotto showed vs Foreman and will continue to show for the next couple of years that he is still one of the best fighters in the world, and not significantly declined from his days of fighting Mosley, Judah, etc.

Clottey, Hatton and Diaz were all pretty much prime as well, Hatton was past his peak but showed vs Malignaggi that he was still functioning as a world-level operator.

Margarito was probably past-prime, but the way he kept on truckin' vs Manny despite all the punishment showed he was a million miles away from being shot.

ODLH is the only one who was in a bad way, but Pac couldn't have known that based on the performances against Mayweather and Forbes, that was Oscar's own fault for making a mess of his weight.
