Floyd Jr, sorry if I dissed your paps but he raised you to be very talented and you had balls at one point when you gave Castillio a rematch but after that your balls disappeared, what happened man?

why did miguel cotto pick joe santiago to train him for the biggest fight of his career?

why did Mike Tyson pick Jeff Fenech?

itsa question none of us can answer.

but by listening to floyd sr's corner work, by watching his training and by listening him analyse fights anyone could tell he's full of ****.

who teaches a fighter who fought one way his entire career to do something completely different?

btw im not talking about hatton im talking about when he got de la hoya to use the shoulder roll when he was stumbling around the ring hurt.

from roger, jeff and the trainers at the boys club he was training at, floyd sr was going in and out of prison when jr was coming up.

  7. yeh for sure theyve played a big part , but when Floyd Jr was a kid Sr was schooling him on that defense and all the fundimentals and pushed him into boxing , I dont think Floyd Jr would be where he is today if he wasnt pushed into this from such an early age by Floyd Sr

I like some of the things he added to Oscar's arsenal. The shoulder roll didn't always work but it was useful against the ropes, and his right hand improved. I remember he destroyed Yori Boy Campas with right hand leads because his left was hurt or something like that.

He's not terrible, but I'm not sure evidence allows us to call him elite.

  10. you can bet that Floyd Sr had him workin on that from a young age

Tyson picked Fenech as he was one of his closest friends, and probably doing it for much less money than anyone else. Tyson didnt want to fight, just wanted paid.
Floyd snr full of ****, he was a world class boxer, devoted his whole life to it, and Sugar Ray Leonard said had a fantastic defence. Some people are born with offensive gifts, but defence is learned, and nobody can deny the Mayweathers all know boxing.
Mayweather jnr is athletically gifted, but knowing what to do in every situation is learned, and by the teachings of someone who really knows their stuff. His father in this case.

Again, Hatton and DLH could have had anyone in the world train them, and both sought out Floyd snr. That says an awful lot IMO

Floyd is the greates skilled fighter born on planet earth. You have to have balls to have 39 pro fights. Trust me he will fight Manny and shock the doubters. He is just that good. never sleep on a naturally skilled talent like Mayweather. He will train hard and negate everything Manny is used to doing easily.
