Who's Bute supposed to fight? He beat Bika and Andrade more convincingly than anyone else including Calzaghe and Kessler. All the top SMW's are all tied up in Super Six or ducking Bute, he tried making fights with every top SMW out of the Super Six and no one wanted any part of him, what's he supposed to do? Collect ring rust and not fight anyone until there's available Super 6 drop outs to fight or until Super 6 is over? The guy is young and still gaining experience and learning so has to stay active and find the best available opponents willing to face him which unfortunately are not the top dogs at the moment. I agree the verdict is still somewhat out on Bute but you can't fault him for his opposition when he wants to fight the best but those guys are tied up or not wanting any part of him.

 

How could Bute ask to be part of the S6 when he didn't even know a tourney was being created?

They didn't make a media stink because at the time, Bute was happy to take on Andrade again ant shut the critics who said he lost the first fight. And at that time, they wanted to face Kelly Pavlik, who had a better name than most S6ers at the time.

You say Bute has only faced C and B level competition, but you still didn't give me a name he could've fought...

 

2 in a row, what a relief. :good Bute still has to prove himself at the highest level, but if he did not at this point, it's not his fault.
