I like berto, but he has a lot to prove. Fighting c and d level fighters ain't gonna do it.

Like how Manny's fans are admitting he's afraid to fight guys like berto and floyd be real you can say Berto hasn't fought anybody but the fact of the matter is no one wants to fight Andre Berto...I hear people throwing Cintrons name out there like he's world class cintron is a bum and has no heart so beating him proves nothing. Berto is an elite welterweight with a title and undefeated record he's fast and explosive and Manny doesn't want any part of that he likes to fight one dimensional fighters guys who don't throw punches and walking punching bags...he's never beaten aby one with the skillset of a Andre Berto...he doesn't want any part of him because he'll get bullied and beat up bad...i

Anybody who wants to make a name the easy way wants to fight Berto, who was anointed before he ever accomplished anything to deserve having a name. Berto is trying to save himself and not take on anyone with a pulse because he thinks he can get a big money fight without ever having to fight a B+ fighter. Pac has beaten fighters with 10x greater skillset than Berto will ever have, Berto does NOT deserve that payday, there are 10 fighters who have earned it more than he has and they should get it.

It would be a good fight. I hope if mayweather-pacquiao doesnt get made that pac-berto does get made next.

Actually, he doesn't. Mosley has a puncher's chance. Berto has no chance whatsoever. How could he possibly win?

at first i actually thought this would be a joke (although still better than mosley at this point), but after thinking about it, berto does some things that could actually trouble pac, such as LOTS of grabbing, tieing up, etc. Berto has a big body (and i don't mean the "i'm a bigger guy so i will hurt him" BS), what i mean is that he can and would grab, hug, and lean on pac as much as possible. he also has that nasty uppercut, something pac doesn't like.

i always had pac winning, but think it could actually turn out to be a good fight.

When was the last time you saw someone successfully tie Pacquiao up? He's never there to be clinched.

Are you serious? Berto has a great chance to make this fight competitive or win. I don't recall seeing Pac in there with anyone with that much raw athletic ability. This would be an excellent fight to make, with two highly athletic fighters. It would be explosive, for as long as it lasted.

Berto wouldn't see the half way point. He's the epitome of everything wrong with boxing today.

I remember when people used to dislike fighters ducking challenges and only looking for a major payday. Guess not anymore. :-(
