No, Fedor will no do that.

I think there is 80% chance he will retire.

If he does fight again it will probably only be one fight at the most.

****. the only reason i got in to mma was because of fedor, by the sound of it he says he is done. would have loved to have seen him in a proper training camp having a go at 205.

im going to watch some pride fights and cry.

Fedor is 230lb fighter that has NEVER had to cut weight I doubt highly he would cut 25-30lbs.

Was his eye really that bad? A bloody mess, or just swollen?

Seriously though the guy wouldn't be looking at at 25 lb weight cut. He just needs to lose the excess weight. Seems to me like he could make 205 cutting no more than 10 lbs.

I could tell Silva was in for a good night after he held his own in the stand-up in the first round, Fedor was just swinging for the fences as usual, the difference between Fedor's striking and Anderson's striking is incredible, and i can't believe the ref didn't stop the fight when Silva got the mount and was murdering Fedor, if the roles were reversed we all know the ref would have stepped in  ,

Great win for Silva though and i think he will be tough to beat, but he won't be able to stand with Overeem that's for sure , lastly good luck to Fedor, i never supported the guy and his fans were so fecking annoying it's unreal but the guy is a legend no doubt about it, the "greatest" though? nah i think Anderson is gonna take that crown.

It amazes me how little these commentators know! fedor has been saying he was pretty much gonna do this GP and then that was it.

I just really can't be botheered with all the drama that's going to come out of this.

Fedor should have done this, Fedor should have done that, yada yada yada. Point is, the guy has had his time and every fighter has to go eventually, Fedor has gotten remarkably far knowing his style and has proven he's legit the goat heavyweight, but his inability to adapt and his wildman approach can't keep him in the truly elite ranks at this point in his career.

    Leave the memories alone.

Big Foot had like 50 lbs on Fedor.

Fedor was great but I agree he should hang them up now. Nothing he needs to prove and he's too small and getting older to compete at the highest level.

"I ****ing told you this guys a ****ing farce. He hasn't fought a top 10 contender since Nam. This guy has been ducking the UFC so he can continue to beat up cans to keep his name at the top. Look what ****ing happens when you fight two top 10 fighters back to back. He ****ing lost to a guy who couldn't even cut it in the UFC."

Most of those blows where grazing hence the swollen, else he would have been cut. Plus Fedor didn't seem "hurt" at all. He took damage but was never "rocked".

I just find it disrespectful of Dana to kick a man while he's down. Fedor never said anything bad about the UFC or that their heavyweights are ****ing ****, he has his own choices.

It's just a bitter comment from a guy who should be a professional about this.
