    yes and no...afterall Guys like kharitonov , Overeem and Werdum, Schilt , Barnett also were in pride.... The guy is 34...and you know what ? I think it's a great and courageous decision. I don't want to see him end up like saku or wandy or crocop... You gotta learn when to stop.

    Silva was too damn big and fedor couldn't do anything. He had been hinting retirement sooner rather than later so now is probably as good as any time

    stupid matchmaking....the cash cow would have been a finals match that ended up with either Werdum or Overeem vs Fedor....so what do they do?....match him with someone 60 pounds heavier....the money maker for this tournament goes out in the first round and the viewership numbers will be cut in half....the legend goes down and future mega matches goes up in smoke.....stupid.

    :lol: The guys you mentioned are 250 plus pounds w/ the exception of Werdum. They are built to deal with this era
