I can't pick one, it's either forrest by UD or Tito by KO

Agreed, although I'm probably leaning a little bit more towards Forrest.

Tito by KO/TKO... Tito's pressure and constant body attack and hooks would have been too much for Forrest eventually.

I love both but remember Vernon's jab vs Trinidad's almost non-existent head movement makes me lean toward a Vernon UD. He picked his shots and his defense wasn't too bad either. He wouldn't be able to land his Sunday punches on Forrest to make it a short night. Good fight but I go with Forrest jabbing his way to a decision and with his power possibly a stoppage.

Its just funny when peeps keep saying...Forrest's jab this, Forrest's jab that, Forrest's jab here and so on but where the **** was Forrest's jab in the Mayorga fights?

    :goodExactly!!!

    R.I.P Vernon Forrest

He is still a class above most of todays boxers!

IMO Mosley vs Trinidad would have been more of a challenge tho

I wouldn't rule out a Tito victory. He found Whitaker. He found Hopkins. He would find Forrest especially if Mayorga could and even Shane a few times. Okay I'm really not sure who to choose now and yes I overrated Vernon's jab lol. People say "He got ko'd by Mayorga!" like Mayorga is a bad fighter which he wasn't. He was a very good fighter in his prime and is still probably dangerous nowadays. Yes he has more losses than wins against top names but he gave all of them problems and was even outboxing Mosley for a few rounds(Mosley was and still is faded but still). Forrest toke him lightly the first figt and paid for it brutally. I wouldn't even recommend for Cotto to take him lightly because of Mayorga's puncher's chance.

I remember reading a boxing article. The details may be wrong but I believe it was Chris Byrd they were talking to and he said Trinidad was offered Vernon as a short notice opponent when someone pulled out against Tito. Apparently Vernon as an unknown looking for his chance was willing but Tito decided against it.
Back then Vernon was a big undefeated WW who was not well known.

Anyway tough fight to choose but I have a feeling Forrest would have beaten Trinidad then. Forrest was a big WW and Tito although a fantastic puncher, I think Vernon would have been careful of that and kept Tito on his jab

I was thinking more along the lines the Forrest that beat the ever living **** out of Mosley.

I could be wrong, I don't recall the timeline, but didn't Forrest have 1 or 2 surgeries on his shoulder before the Mayorga fight(s)?
