I don't know.....I guess the same thing I can potentially win. A pat on the back from yourself and the realization that you are so much smarter than everyone else.

Hahahahahahaha! j/k....hehehehe. Nothing you will have simply been correct if you are proven correct.

How exactly are you any less confident about the way these fights will go than the "doomsday prophets?" Your pronouncements about how entertaining they will be (as well as the simple and obvious way you describe the fight as going in your subsequent post) do not strike me as any less brash or any more qualified than the people suggesting that this fight and Cotto-Mayorga will be lopsided blowouts. Are you allowed to get away with overconfidence if you're a "sunny day prophet?"

I am also a bit annoyed that you seem to be treating importance and entertainment as being in complete tension with one another. Important matches are not always entertaining, but neither are matches that are unimportant yet projected to be entertaining. I think it's foolish to accept lazy or cynical match making simply because a fight has the potential to be entertaining. There are no guarantees of entertainment; demanding that the best guys in each division fight one another strikes me as a far better strategy than simply creating the style match-ups perceived as likely to create entertaining fights (especially since, as we have seen throughout boxing history, the latter has often been used simply to justify low-risk fights).

Finally, I fear your run-down of divisions does not necessarily mesh with reality, particularly in the welterweight, junior middleweight, middleweight, and light heavyweight divisions.

it wont be competitive. Shane will get discouraged and confused once pac starts outboxing and potshotting him. Then he'll take a beatdown. Shane can't pull the trigger anymore.

Shane will not be competitive and will take a beating. He couldn't deal with Floyd's single shots so how does he deal with many more punches coming from different angles? Add in that Pacquiao is much faster and can fight for all 12 rounds and I can't see Mosley winning at all.

I dont even see Shane winning 3 rounds!!

The further the fight gets the less of a chance he has! Only chance I can see is if he catches Manny cold with a bomb in round 1! Even if he did Im not sure he could finish him off!

Link me to the forums titled: "Pac/Clottey to be competitive", "Margarito is a match up nightmare for Pac", "Pac/Clottey a 'wash'", "Pac in over his head with Margarito", and my favorite, the I hope it's not true for Manny's sake: "Margarito is Pac's toughest opponent yet".

Pac/Mosley will not be competitive. If you think it will be, you're either a wishful Mayweather fan or a hopeless (and annoying) Pacquiao fan. Take a damn blood test without your requested 7 day window and we can have a competitive match...

Why would Mayweather fans want the match up to be competitive? Surely Mayweather fans want to see Manny to face floyd (and take the damn tests)

This fight won't be competitive, like someone said Shane can't pull the trigger quick enough anymore. Pac's going to be in and out, not walking him down or staying in range. Pac's an ambush fighter, Shane does not have the legs to chase. Or the chin/defense to walk through. The only interesting piece in this fight is to see how pac reacts to the clinch, and if he listens to his corner, and I know Roach has told him, there won't be many of those. I expect another death by a thousand left hands.

I'm not sure you understand what it means for two things to be in tension with one another. It's not that one's more important than the other, it's that there's a tradeoff between the two of them. You seem to be implying that one must choose between importance and entertainment in points 1 and 2.
