Jones is overrated. Hernandez would **** his **** up imo.

Jones is also lazy, he also isn't a clean cut CW with his flabby body. Way to inactive, overprotected at this point of his career too. Hes lucky hes from Panama, cause he should of been stripped of his title long time ago. Adamek would of beaten him faily easy, and even todays top CWs would beat him such as Hernandez, USS(already did), Diablo, and Lebedev to name a few.

Congratulations to Yoan P. Hernandez on his victory last night, I personally thought that because he is based in Germany his career would amount to nothing but I guss I was wrong .......

If it wasn't for Germany, Gamboa's and Solis' career wouldn't have amounted to anything. Their career kicked off in Germany and their Co-promotional and HBO/ESPN contracts were negotiated from Germany, as well as their international visas. The only problem with Hernandez being based in Germany is fighing under Wegner - he could do a lot better with Juan Carlos Gomez' trainer or anyone but a German style coach. But Hernandez biggest problem seemed to be his chin and mental strength in the past which isn't trainer related, and it's not an issue lately, so he's doing good right now.

Regarding Jones - how on Earth can a guy totally overlooked be overrated? That just doesn't make sense, hardly anyone heard about the dude. And overprotected? Does he seem like he has ANYONE standing behind him? He's been tossed around and was the opponent for much of the past few years getting the visitor's treatment in the US and UK before taking it out of the judges hand in Germany. Him vs. Hernandez - fascinating fight and I'd slightly favor Jones in that match-up, just like vs. the Cunningham of yesterday. Diablo? Gotta be kidding me, he'd beat him comfortably. Lebedev is a different animal though, he's very hard to beat.

Jorge Rubio's Cuban Amateur Maja going to war with Yoandris Salinas. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TwsdSKydj4w[/ame] . . . . . The sparring started getting pretty heated so at 8 Minutes you see Luis Ortiz try to step in the ring and play referee but you hear Maja's dad yelling at him and that's why Ortiz got out so fast.

Sorry, i should of explained myself a little better.....

I meant, hes not overrated in general, but hes overrated on this forum by us "hardcore" fans....

I know it sounds silly, but I see many posters on here saying how good of a fighter Jones is and well...maybe he is, but he doesn't prove it at all. That makes him overrated by the ones rating him so high on the CW charts. He offers nothing to the CW division. He rarely fights, just face it. Hes a horrible champion and hes a horrible role model for new boxing fans. 1 title defense in 2 years? Come on.....

Diablo will make his second defense in his 1 year reign this April.. Marko Huck made 4 defenses in 2010...Steve Cunnigham has a excuse tho...And thats skumbag Don King. When he won his title from Diablo, he defended it vs. Huck and than he took a whole year off before his title defense to Adamek...

What you need to look at, is that this division is by far one of the most EXCITING divisions in boxing(to me at least), and the potential match ups in this division just screams excitement. Jones had no excuse for his long layoff. He wasn't injured, he didn't have any training camp problems or anything relevant....

Now that Jones has just made a defense in his home country, hes now talking about moving to HW.... Jones is all talk and no show... Im sorry but thats the way it is, and the only way my opinion will change is if he actually makes some title defenses this year....If he wants to be a respectful CW, he needs to make at least 2 title defenses this year. A unification bout vs. Hernandez would be the best matchup right now.

Im sick of the WBA and their 2 champions per divisions....What a horrible aspect and black eye to the sport. 4 World Champions in this division is more than enough, but 2 or 3 per sanctioning body? Thats just ridiculous.

Yes, he has the WBA standing behind him and also Don King. Yes, the WBA...aka the most corrupt of the sanctioning bodys whos headquarters are based in Panama City, Panama....and yes Don King, the most corrupt of the boxing promoters....

Jones pisses me off. When Haye was CW king he was talking about fighting him but him and his surrounding team did nothing. When Adamek was CW king he was talking about fighting him and his surrounding team did nothing.

Hernandez would beat Jones, and pretty comfortably too imo. Hernandez has pretty good talent, ring IQ(hes Cuban), and he actually shows devotion and hunger to become a great fighter in this packed division. Jones has some talent, but rarley shows it. He shows limited devotion and hunger to become the best. Hernandez is more technically skilled imo and would beat Jones by UD on neutral territory.

Diablo is a good fighter, i think you might be slightly underrating him a bit. I agree, he might not fight his potential, but he looked real great in his title defense vs. Robinson and his rematch vs. Fragomeni.... Diablo is a technical puncher. His boxing style all revolves around his punching technique and he thows them at good angles and his connections are good. He also has respectable power and imo has the ability to KO anyone in the CW division.

Anyways, all this talk about thw CW division is getting me excited. I can't wait for the Super 6.

    Diablo(WBC), Huck(WBO), USS(IBF), Hernandez(WBA), Lebedev, and Frenkel....

Although id prefer Jones to join the Super 6 due to him holding a title but I guarantee you he won't do it... Such a waste of a fighter.

The guy started the fight with two legs, and the injury was not as bad as it seems, Hernandez would had ko him anyway.
