Nice work, how the hell did you find his name?. . . Yeah Salinas has Luis Ortiz & Osmiri Fernandez working his corner and Jorge Rubio is working Maja's corner. You can see Inocente Fiz spectating as well. . . This took place at Osmiri's gym which is why just about everyone is rooting for Salinas in the video. . . Jorge came down with 4 Amateur's and Maja's dad. Everyone else in the gym was there for Salinas. Their gyms are about 35-40 Minutes apart.

 

What do Cubans think about Rigondeaux facing English professional Willie Casey. Shouldn't Rigondeaux be facing a better opponent such as the following titleholders:

Japanese boxing just exploding 8 world champs today. Think Rigo should take more time to make some small changes in the offensive. He might risk losing a decision if he fight against a guy in a foreign country. His defensive skill does not pay off with all the judges in pro-boxing.

The guy that shot the vid is his friend , and is an usual member in me and my friend's spanish boxing forum. There was some negative energy in the air he said salina's peoples were tripping and where behaving very unprofessionally. again rubio is one of my favs in the miami area. His friend told me that maja has his pro debut feb 25th in orlando

 

Can you tell us some more about the amateur experience of El Maja?
Salinas is praised a lot but the ''unknown'' Maja was the one looking very good and talented.

 

I heard he's only 18 years old so his amateur record must be short .

 

Well not if he started boxing at 9 and boxed for a Provincial team.
In that case he could well have had over a 100 fights.

 

None of them are Euro level professionals such as Casey!
