Theophane seems to be peaking, Daws seems maybe just a tad past his prime. I'm leaning towards Theophane, but still unsure. You folks across the pond know more about these guys than I do.

    A little help please?

can i have an unofficial poll on

"do you hate it when an american comes on here and refers to us as brits from across the pond"

    YES
    NO

I fancy Theophane but wouldn't put a ton of money on it.

I think Theophane takes this but he can blow hot and cold depending on his motivation. I don't think Daws is all that and it has been a bit since he last fought am i right the last time was the draw with Cook?

EDIT: Turns out it was Steve Williams in July

I'm a fan of Lenny but i'm worried about this fight. Theopane's mixed in decent/good company and done well.

Lenny's last two fights i've felt he's been winning pretty handily yet Cook got a draw and Williams was only a point or two behind before corner pulling him which says to me his work doesn't get appreciated by Judges.

I think it's gonna be a grueling battle and i think it will be very close. Lenny needs to start faster then normal and get into rhythm.

Could see a draw. I think it will be nip and tuck.

I don't know about the fight but Lenny Daws will have the best entrance tune.

Yeah, I'm not sure theres any need for that. I think we should welcome people from different places into the Brit forum.

Anyway, Theophane should be fancied. He's tricky, has the speed and experience on his side, whereas Daws is very basic but does have good stamina and work-rate.

If you are in America, isn't the UK "across the pond"?

Only one so far going with Daws. Pretty surprising that. Like it been posted before it should be very close. I'm leaning with Theophane as well but I reckon it will be very close. Both have a tendency of starting slow as well. Could be who kicks into gear early could win this.

I think it will be a case of wether Daws can find his rhythm early enough or wether Theophanes awkward style keeps Daws off him.

Good to see Theophane back at the brit scene him vs Brook could be a good fight.

Interesting. Can't say I like it so much myself, but it was you Brits that originally introduced the term to me, so I went along with it. Thanks for the sentiments though.

Exactly. I simply want British fan's opinions on this one, without being politically incorrect.

After watching my first Super Bowl with several Brits, on ESB, I have a new found respect for British fans as sportsmen.

Thanks for the opinion. I'll be keeping an eye out for your pick to see if you stick with it. I didn't expect the poll results to be so lopsided.
