Carl Frampton??

    Although I agree Frampton would beat Hughes easialy, it would be the best possible defence of his celtic title and would be a british title eliminator.

    Frampton's next fight will be on Sky. The Date is 5th March. No opponent or venue confirmed yet

    Kris Hughes would be anice step up for frampton. A good fight and the opponents good enough to give Carl a test.

    really? I think Carl is a few classes above the likes of hughes.

    Carl will be in my gym sparring Simpson next week again,smashing wee gut who's improving with the experience he's getting from John.IMO he'll beat Willie Casey when Carl's ready to move up

    March 5th is the Matchroom date. Skykes vs Truscott somewhere in Yorkshire.

    Hughes would be a bit better than Frmptons revious opponents imo. Carl Is a few levels above the likes of Hughes, but it will give Frampton the chance to face an opponent with decent boxing skill and someone who has a big height advantage over him. Carls not exactly a big super-bantamweight and he has short arms, it would do him good to fight an opponent like this. And maybe Hughes boxing skills could test him a bit.

    that's actually true, it beats fighting more eastern european punching bags brought over to lose in 2 rounds and pick up a check

    still though, carl has the potential and ability to move up fast. I thinl he should

    Regardless of the power he is too upright and I think Frampton would walk through him. He's very very open in that clip though it was a lovelly shot!!!
