A film about Gerry Cooney would be cool. A guy who was tormented and humiliated by his father somehow finds himself fighting one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, finds himself in a media circus where he doesn't belong. Loses his shot at the title. Hits rock bottom in the way that so many fighters do, only to redeem himself in his effort at providing retired fighters with a future.

    Played by Gerard Butler.

I personally think I've ****ing nailed an Academy Award winning film here that could also pick up multiple awards at Cannes, the BAFTAS and Yokohama film festival.

Could reannact his trouble childhood in Philly, his 5 year sentence in jail, him overcoming the odds ,all the way up to him knocking out Trinidad

    That would be brilliant

Jason Booth would be a really great story. The best though, would be Bobby Chacon's.

I don't know who could play either though.

Jack Johnson would be a great movie. Unforgiveable Blackness is one of the best documentaries out there.

Jack Johnson wasnt a handsome man. So maybe Wesley snipes?

There's no real arc to a Johnson film though. It's a good story but I don't think it'd make a great film. It'd be kind of boring after a while.

Ketchel's would be very good though. He was a genuine character.

Hmm I can see that. But it'll have to be a while before its made. Just as many people hate Oscar as love him.
