Savate is another element that bruce lee liked and they talk about it in the Dao. I know some of the basic savate kicks, it's good to use on defense to stop a kick or to intercept.

Savate definetly has some good defensive techniques for sure, and seems to use more varitey of kicks not seen by traditional muay thai fighters.
