Pre-Maidana, that’s what I thought too. They were huge and seemed to protect his chin behind his high guard, so I naturally assumed he and his team preferred them. Until it was revealed he actually didn’t like them.

I like the look of Grant.....smartness and precision is what comes to mind:

Yeah must admit i do like Grants. Certain fighters look terrible in them but Khan would suit them i'd think. Guys like Mike Jones look like that got pillows on .

I hate pillow-gloves! I think the colour white contributes to this look massively:

I've always wondered whether fighters should be made to wear the same brand glove. Those Reebok ones look ****, and humongous compared to say the Reyes gloves. Surely it isn't on a level playing field if one guy's getting hit by a pillow and the other a brick?

It can make a difference but its there own fault for signing the contracts with the makers or not negotiating for them

I think Reebok would of been really pissed off for the Maidana as it was their **** up that the gloves did not weigh 8oz. I dont think Reebok USA market/sell them, its a Reebok U.K thing at the moment.

The Maidana fight was a big photo/promotion for Reebok Boxing gear to market itself in the U.S and I dont think a big company like Reebok will let that happen again, they will make sure the fight gloves weigh up next time for sure.

Wear the best - Reyes. Other fighters (Hatton) get Reyes to blank them so they can put their own brand on them.

**** me, cricketers do it all the time getting their bats made directly in India and then just place the sponsors decals on them.

Reebok won't care, as long as their brand is seen with Khan winning - it's all about the $!
