1. Werdum 2. Silva 3. Fedor 4. Sergei -Lesnar has 5-2 and one of the worst standup and ground, he doesnt deserve a top 10. Lesnar also hasnt won against a prime and currently relevant fighter. -Overeem needs to prove himself against top HW. At the moment Sergei would be infront of Overeem. Overeem is a mid top 10 fighter. -Cain, more skilled than Brock but really hasnt fought anyone relevant. His win against old Nog is not good enough and his win against Lesnar should be discounted since Lesnar himself cant warrant a top 10 placing. I now have Cain on the bottom half of the top 10. -Carwin, still inexperienced and his last showing was pretty pathetic. Him gassing in the first round is very amateurish. Carwin doesnt deserve a top 10. -Sergei Kharitonov top standup and ground with wins against Overeem and Werdum both of whom are two of the top HW fighters currently. -Barnett would be on the top half of 6-10 ranking since he is pretty experienced with wins against guys when those guys where at the top of their game. Barnett has also show top striking and ground.
barnett was the hardest to rank as he hasn't faced great opposition of late but its hard to rank him low as he hasn't lost since he was ranked the 2nd best HW i believe. dont agree with dos santos beating the **** out of him but i can understand you having him ahead
Barnett is a pretty hard guy to rank. H2H he should be pretty high and he has a strong resume and hasnt even lost a fight in 4 years but his recent resume has been very weak.
1. Werdum 2. Dos Santos 3. Cain 4. Overeem 5. Big Foot 6. Fedor 7. Barnett 8. Lesnar 9. Carwin 10. Mir I honestly might be ranking Fedor too much on past accomplishments though.
I guess Dos Santos ktfo Werdum doesn't count? He also finished Gonzaga CC,Yvel ,Struve and beat Nelson convincingly. Rankings are a what have you done for lately thing 2005 has long gone......
I haven't decided yet. One thing i do know...for sure...Cain Velasquez isn't # 1. I'll have a better idea of the rankings after the grand prix final
