David Lahr First article that makes complete sence!!

By Dave Lahr: Just as I and WBA heavyweight champion David Haye (25-1, 23 KO’s) suspected, if Haye wants a fight with IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (55-3, 49 KO’s), he’s going to have to be willing to wait until 2012 at the earliest to get the fight, if at all. Wladimir was set to fight Haye on July 2nd, but then took a tune-up fight with Dereck Chisora on April 30th.

Haye didn’t believe that Wladimir could make the July 2nd date with a tune-up fight against Chisora occurring only 2 months before that date. Haye wisely said forget it, and pulled out of the July 2nd date. Wladimir continued to say that he would still fight Haye on July 2nd. Now, however, Wladimir is saying something different.

Today, it was learned that Wladimir can’t make the July 2nd date and because of his scheduled fight against contender Tomasz Adamek in September, Wladimir said he would probably not be able to fight Haye in 2011. This wouldn’t be an issue under normal circumstances but Haye is retiring in October and he’s firm on that retirement. He’s not going to change his mind about it, and it looks like Wladimir has decided to dodge the dangerous fight with Haye by taking the needless tune-up against Chisora and then signing on for another fight against Adamek rather than taking the bigger money to face Haye.
What does that tell you when a fighter chooses the much smaller money? I know what it tells me. Wladimir is ducking Haye and Chisora and Adamek were merely the foxhole for Wladimir to hide in while Haye’s retirement date ended the threat of Wladimir being knocked out. This is so sad.

Haye said before he moved to this division when he would retire not because he was scared hahahaha And no i think the brothers are great champions im posting this because it was a good way to look at it! Wlad him self said he could make the fight and blamed Haye for ducking now he says he cant fight so who is ducking who my friend? Its simple really it not confusing! Look at the facts what both fighters have said.

Your article had a lot more credibility BEFORE you revealed its source... :)

Still, I am frustrated that this fight hasn't been made - I think both sides are to blame to some extent, but anyone that says Wladimir is not at fault to any degree is blind. Same for Haye fans - he's not blameless, either.

    Of course that's true.

    Can I say something harsh.

The only reason people's opinion is "Haye is ducking Wlad" and not "Wlad is ducking Haye is because Haye is a cocky, loud, black guy, that American fans have spent the last 50 years getting pissed off with

You know, look at it with an open mind.

Haye offers Wlad the July date, and basically signs off the deal.

Before signing the Haye deal, Wlad signs a deal with Derek freaking Chisora 7 weeks before!"?

You know, the biggest fight in the division in 10 years, and Wlad's signing up to face a journeyman 7 weeks before he's supposed to be boxing.

How do you promote a fight like that?

What TV company in their right mind is going to plow millions into a PPV, when Wlad may get injured, or hurt fighting that close before it?

Truth actually is, Wlad knew that signing with Chisora would end any chance of facing Haye. He knew the TV companies wouldn't accept it. And neither would Haye.

The key thing about it all is that the Chisora "tune up" is totally needless and pathetic. Why a 50 fight veteran needs a "tune up" vs a 14 fight novice with little skill is a mystery.

Imagine if Mayweather said he would fight Pacquiao in July.

And then signed to face errrr, Frankie Gavin instead 7 weeks before.

And Manny told him "it's me or him"

And Floyd said he'd take on both

And Manny said "fine, and walked"

    You guys would crucify Mayweather

As I said, Wlad's a quiet white guy, and Haye's the heavyweight version of Mayweather. That's the only reason you guys think the way you do

Haye's saying he signed the Chisora deal, to bomb the Haye deal.

And then signed to face Adamek afterwards as well.

You know, I'm not one to go too far, but Wlad deserves his fair share of heat

Maybe Derek Chisora? Albert Sowonowski, or Shannon Briggs?

As in the Klitshko's last 3 opponents

Haye's best win probably outranks Wlad's. That's how sad it is

You've also got to take into account that the only way Haye could fight Wlad, and avoid having to fight Chagaev next, was to fight Wlad by July 2nd. By that I mean, be actively in training by April/June

Wlad fighting Chisora, triggered a clause that mean Haye had to fight Chagaev first as well

I think his people are trying to maintain control of the one fraction of the heavyweight title that they posses, and as you've already mentioned, the only way to do this is to keep him away from anyone with a heartbeat.

That said, I don't think we need anymore verification as to who the real heavyweight champion is. Wladimir Klitschko sealed his claim upon beating the true WBA champ Ruslan Chagaev back in 2009. He has gone nearly 7 years and umpteen fights without a loss and has already beaten better fighters than the current crop of contenders, most of whom want nothing to do with him anyway... I say he should finish out the year by beating Adamek and retire..

    Quite simple.

SKY TV in the UK were putting up 80% of the money, and it's the only date they would accept.

Because of commitments to Amir Khan
