    Absolutely not. Giving him the nickname "Sugar" is way too disrespectful of Joe. The three American Sugars have a combined 28 losses and never had to deal with the high level of European competition that Joe regularly dominated. None of them are worthy to be ranked alongside him.

    I think he was illuding to that fact that they both had comparable records, were dominant in their respective divisions, and perhaps even that they were both white.. Marciano will always rate higher on a p4p list, but I can see some of the similarities.

    But he is a confirmed drug cheat, we now know the reason why he had such a high energy over 12 rounds. He ducked all the great euro competition and instead fought all the American Bums like Bernard Hopkins and RJJ(4 losses apiece).
