I never mentioned Benn, Lewis or super Joe. Its just in the case with Haye, its smells BS everywhere else but UK.
Why is Haye hated so much? What he achieved as a cruiser is brilliant! And has been a heavy for such a short period of time so of course you can't compare wlad and haye but that fact is this Is the fight the fans want! Haye could be the only heavy left to actually beat them and for wlad this is a massive pay day but he decided to fight Chisora?!?!?!? And then makes his fans believe it's down to trust! Come on guys wake up! Haye is an idiot for not fighting in 2009 and I think he would of lost that fight but now may be just maybe he may win shame wlad decided to take the easy fight!
I can't stand the guy but it made sence and as shaunster has shown it has come out of wlads mouth! But he some thing happened for this fight to brake down so there both to blame!
@stocks: There is no reason to go in to an extacy about it. Dave Lahr who wrote the article is a spoof writer. His function is to wind up fans in order to attract visitors to the webpage. Give the fans someone they can love to hate, so to speak. In other words he does not worry about any facts. I recommend you go check the source so you don't get anything wrong. Here is a link: http://sportsvibe.co.uk/wladimir-klitschko-2/. I assume this is the source Dave Lahr used, since a writer here on Eastside refears to Sportswibe when he just like Dave Lahr claims that Wlad has gone back on his word. I listened to the whole interview and I did not find the quote in question :huh. All Wlad says is that if Haye does not take the fight the 2th july that's his problem. Personally I agree, Peace.
I have read the article and I also checked the source (Sportswibe) and can someone tell me where the **** Wlad says what the writer claims? Here is the interviews, by the way. This content is protected /Peace
This goes against everything Wladimir has said in interview, after interview, after interview, so please forgive me for being skeptical. I haven't listened to the interview myself...but I would bet that the writer (both here on ESB, and Dave Lahr), took bits and pieces and wove it to fit their own story. It's called taking things out of context. For example, let's say Wlad said "I don't think Haye is going to agree, it looks like I won't be able to fight Haye July 2nd", or "Haye hasn't agreed yet, so it looks like the July 2nd fight isn't going to happen". So they probably just took the underlined part of something like the example above, and used it for their own cause.
I still can't believe that people are convinced that Wladimir Klitschko would be ducking fighter like David Haye. Who is he? Wladimir Klitschko doesn't duck fighters. When in his career has he ever been accused of ducking anyone. One of the reasons why so many boxing fans accuse Floyd of ducking Pac is because he has shown a history of acting this way. When has Wlad? Wlad has character...unlike David Haye who has already backed out of every single agreement made with the Klitschko bros...and now you still want to believe that Haye is the person who really wants this fight? Sad!!
Due to injury he only had 1 fight in 2009, and said at the start of last year he wanted 3 fights that year, to stay more active. So after Chambers and Peter (was supposed to be Povetkin) who were pretty highly ranked guys he was going to finish the year off with an easy fight. Somebody who'd be happy to take a decent payday and wouldn't spend ages haggling over every contractual detail so they could get the fight on before the end of the year. I guess Chisora was the first name out of the hat, he could have had a different untested guy or shot veteran if he wanted but Chisora's who they decided on.
I think it is a direct quote: "With Chisora and then possibly Adamek it's unlikely the fight can take place before the end of the year at the earliest," Klitschko told Sportsvibe. "But I'm not going anywhere and I suspect, even though Haye says he will retire, that he cannot afford to quit boxing before fighting me." But to say 'Wlad is ducking Haye' on the basis of that quote is daft. I imagine that if the Adamek fight hadn't been signed then Wlad would maintain that he could fight Haye on 2nd July (which to me is ridiculous). The fight will happen and both fighters know it.
To be fair the story is also reported by more reliable sources, but you're right - i've seen things written in **** on a public toilet wall then with more credibility than articles from boxingnews24.
