Casey for fighter of the year, obviously. Casey-Hyland for both fights of the year.

Does a fighter have to have fought in Ireland to win prospect of the year? Kavanagh, Byrne etc haven't fought here so are they eligible?

If they are Irish they eligible. The criteria for this is the same for the critieria for the "Irish P4P" list.

Either born on the island of Ireland or consider themselves to be primarily Irish.

Casey-Hyland didnt even make it into the top three of the "Irish Fight of the Year" category. Which is the best fight anywhere in the world involving at least one Irishman.

    Last years winner was Dunne-Cordoba.

    All will be revealled. ;)

The criteria for inclusion for awards is that the awards are a. fighters that were born on the island or Ireland, or b. consider themselves PRIMARILY Irish. The later category ensures the inclusion for Andy Lee, Lee Murtagh, Matthew Macklin etc.

This is different to the Irish rankings criteria which is more open and includes those eligible for an Irish title - hence the reason Frankie Gavin, Jonjo Finnagan, Bobby Gunn and the Walsh brothers are included in those.

Ha ha! just seen you edited the post - that was quick. I think he is ineligable because she has been inactive for 6 months!

    Oh, well in that case:

Fighter Of The Year: Willie Casy

Fight Of The Year: Mind's hit a blank. I'll go Simpson-Lindsay but I'm sure there's a better one.

Domestic Fight Of The Year: Casey-Hyland

    Prospect: Frampton

    Newcomer: Kavanagh

Comeback Of The Year: Rogan, he actually made a comeback, Magee's was more just fighting his way out of obscurity.

    KO Of The Year: McCloskey-Lauri
