    No, of course not.

You have to fight.....and beat....other great fighters in something close to their prime. Neither has done that.

:patschDo you really believe that statement ?
That 37-38 version of Holmes only lasted 4 rounds with a peak Tyson because of his quality, admittedly he was slightly faded and suffering from ring rust but he was still amazingly skillful and seasoned. And i have to say it, but how many rounds do you think any version of Wladimir or Vitali for that matter would go with that version of Tyson? I know i could'nt see Wladimir lasting four.
Come on you can't sit there and seriously claim that that version of Holmes would'nt be a top ten heavy in todays era?!? Even the 90's version was borderline top ten.

In the 80's boxing was one big crack house, Tyson was the crackhead champion, but the first non-crackhead he fought [Douglas] knocked his ass out big time...

Douglas not only beat Tyson, but he brutally knocked Tyson out,
and Douglas lost to every top fighter he fought before and after Tyson...

How old was Sanders when he fought WALDO? How fat was Sanders for that fight?

Get real, WALDO wouldn't have lasted 2 rounds against that version of Tyson - and that's being generous.

Didn't take long before a Klit-ite posted something this dumb.

Tyson was the youngest HW champ ever, and was undisputed champ for about 3 years. When one of the Klits is undisputed maybe, just maybe they can be mentioned in the same breath but there'd still be no argument. At the age WALDO was getting KO'd by Ross Purrity Tyson was undisputed champion and KO'ing quality opposition left right and centre, as opposed to faded has-beens and fat midgets like WALDO fights.

I wouldn't bet against a peak Vitali in a fight with any heavyweight in history, so of course the guy is an ATG!

Wlad has a bit more to do before he's ATG.

Neither are ATG's currently and I don't see a fight in the pipeline that could possibly make that happen.

Neither have beaten a genuinely elite heavyweight and the B level competition they have taken out has been in long, drawn out bore fests.

Tyson also gets slated for never beating a truly elite fighter but at least he was wiping his opponents out in devastating, entertaining, style. I also think his win over Holmes is a lot better than people make out.

The fact the Klitschkos are ruling the division together also doesn't bode well.

Neither one can say they have been undisputed champion or have fought the other best fighter in the division.
Yes, they are brothers and no, I don't want to see them fight each other. That would be a **** fight.
But what other ATG fighter could have cemented their place in history without acheiving either of those things?

Maybe that's not their fault, but all those things considered, for me, it stops them from being ATGs.
