Chris Arreola, as unathletic as they come but he has the skills to pay (at least some) bills!

Didnt come to this conclusion myself but i totally agree with it.

Marquez Does not really excel in any area (Apart from timing) yet his fundamental skills are so great they more than make up for it.

Idk, I think JMM is pretty athletic. Penalosa was a very good shout.

I know it's off topic, but Peter Aerts from the K1 competitions is one perfect example of an unathletic fighter beeing 3 times world champion and beeing on of the best all time.

What do you mean by unathletic? A guy like Fernando Montiel isn't relying much on athleticism but has excellent timing and power, dunno if he fits. But if we simply talk about fighters being more skilled and less athletic, Calderon, Chagaev, Wonjongkam and Erdei fits the bill.

Okay???? The guy won an olympic gold medal, was very fast handed, naturally explosive and powerful. I'd say Frazier had a good deal of athletism.

Eddie Chambers isn't tremendously skilled, but he is still a lot more skilled than most modern heavyweights, but just doesn't have the power due to not being very athletic.

in terms of physicality, juan diaz looks fat while mijares looks too skinny to be a boxer. yet both have excellent skills.

The definitive answer is Loche, most of the guys listed are either unskilled or athletic
