    Shut the **** up.

UFC had an event that aired right before the boxing ppv, had much more action, A GREAT UNDERCARD, and was free and as such probably got more viewers, and anybody who saw that card became a fan.

    Watch both, idiot.

You would have less vaginal itch if you spent less time on the mat and more time fighting upright, like a man. :rasta

Relax Beebs. Just standing up for my favorite fight sport.

Real fighting is real fighting, boxing is boxing.

How you can not like REAL fighting is beyond me, I love boxing, but its one piece of a puzzle.

No swimmer is winning a triathialon.

Uh huh. And MMA is real fighting, right?

In a controlled arena, one on one, rolling around for minutes on a soft pad with a referee and no weapons.

No, both are fight sports, with rules. Period.

Boxing is boxing, MMA is fighting.

    MMA fighter > Boxer

(Still love boxing though, but you gotta tell the truth, an MMA fighter would destroy a boxer in a real fight)

MMA is as close as you can get to real fighting without getting arrested. Vale Tudo was just flat out real fighting.

You might not find real fighting entertaining, but I dont give a ****, plus although the sport was doing just fine without mainstream exposure, it is now the fastest growing sport in the world.

You don't see people on the MMA forum starting threads about boxing now do you?

You might not like MMA, but it is the purest expression of fighting you can get away with.

MMA resembles real fighting far more closer than boxing.

Like that fight someone posted a few weeks ago, right?

Oh, forgot, Frye was drunk. Convenient.

    Anyways, none of this matters.

The point of the thread is that boxing finished up the year solidly as the best fight sport, and all the dumbass MMA fans who said it was down for the count can now wander off... Lidell is done, Hughes was beat, GSP was beat, and Sherk got busted doing what we all knew he was doing.

    Boxing > MMA.
