I know that he winds a few of you up on the forum with his forthright views, but he showed a touch of class last Friday night. Billy and a few friends were at an amateur club show, Argo ABC in Glasgow. It's not a dinner show, just a very busy club show in a sports centre. Just out of the blue, he offered the club an auction prize; 2 ringside tickets for Ricky Burns v Joseph Laryea, a chance to visit the Fighting Scots gym to watch Ricky prepare for the fight, a pair of personally autographed gloves & photo with Ricky during the gym visit and (if possible) a chance to visit the dressing room about an hour before the fight. It was only a local show with genuine boxing punters, not a dinner show with the big spending businessmen but it still raised several hundred quid for a local amateur club. You're a good man Billy.........................................................................but you'll still never make lightweight!!! :tong

Billy is a Crackin guy a was in Glasgow ricky invited me up to the gym a went up and was a gd day went back to billys house after where had a long chat about boxing. A relized how much this guy actually knows about boxing and speaks very highly of people. The guys put scotland back on the map for the boxing scene!! Keep up the good Work Billy!!!
Listening to some of your posts on here you really are a nutjob!! 80% of your posts are on here to cause offence!!! A see alot of them are directed at Billy so you are either jealous of the guy or just a genuine nutjob who doesn't like anyone!!
