Re-watched some of his fights. He showed a lot of skill in Watson I, guys. He was catching punches and countering sharply, as well as avoiding many punches by narrow margins; though those are maybe more reactions than timing or technique.

''I actually wasn't that good...i was clever..so...what i would make up for showmanship or with showmanship for what i didn't have in ability.''

He was much better on the backfoot than he was on the front foot, on the front foot he often reached with his punches imo, or jumped in and left himself in a vulnerable spot.

    :yep

I did find it amusing when he said Kessler can only fight on the front foot (which is true).

I like that he has his own way of things, when someone fights in an usual style,it makes it harder for opponents to prepare for them.

lol, eubank was so corect on his comment on vitali, those europeans"spoliers!" lol,so true!.

i like the interaction and discussion of style from lewis and eubank.
i could watch that kind of thing all day!.

Yep, he'd also sometimes have to switch stances because his forward movement and the over reaching had forced him to.

Notice how he used to scamper away sometimes to? his footwork was all over the place if he was not set to punch but was being put under pressure.
