    Savon is one cuban i would have loved to have seen turn pro.
    I was just wondering if anyone has any good videos or footage to put up of the great man. It would be much appreciated if you have.

    I liked Savon's one-punch KO in 1987 Pan American games.

    It was a left hook/one arm punch awesome KO.

    i think savon was better

    I dont know about 10million but i do know that when he came to PR for the central american games in 1993 there was a big contingency of cubans from miami trying to get a lot of cuban athletes to defect. Most of the big rich cubans from miami came to PR to pressure the baseball players, boxers and all the ones they could convince.

    Savon said no and thats why cuba didnt participate this year in the games because they were held in PR and they didnt want to go through the same stuff. Savon loves cuba and the revolution and would never betray it.

    Thanx for the vids and posts, i'm loving the Savon vids, and the right hand Stevenson hits Tate with is superb! I'm sure you will all agree that Savon and Stevenson were awesome talents that had bags of skill, crisp accurate punches and destructive power. You have to wonder how well they could of done as pro's. Shame we will never know. Talented athletes.
