This tactic will continue for the extent of the Pacquiao-Mosley build-up and fight. Mayweather is trying to "ride" on Pacquiao's media coverage, transfer some of that attention to himself. The greater the attention becomes for Mosley-Pacquiao, the more you will see Mayweather trying to insert himself in the discussion. This is an old public relations/media tactic.

This won't change, so just sit back and either ignore it or enjoy it, depending on your perspective.

This will play out on Floyd-friendly sites like Fight Hype. The testing distraction will be brought up. There will be interviews with various of the Mayweather clan. As seen, Pacquiao's old losses will be brought up. There will be a continued attempt to demonstrate the "groundswell" that demands a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. Etc.

Hater or nuthugger, one has to accept what Floyd has become at this point in relation to Pacquiao: A parasite. It's like Jupiter reflecting the sun's light and trying to pretend it is the sun itself.

The problems with these kind of tactics are pretty obvious. First, you **** off the guy who's heat you're trying to take. In this case, Pacquiao. In the past, that may have worked well for Mayweather. Now, it's likely to ensure that Arum and Pacquiao will go even further to make sure Floyd never gets a fight with Pacquiao (which Floyd doesn't seem to want, anyways).

Further, the public becomes even more down on you and cynical about your motives. Everyone knew this was coming from Mayweather, this attempt to take Pacquiao's heat. Who's buying it? The Floyd fans? They're already on board. The rest of the public is likely to think that the coward who won't fight Pacquiao is back to talking again -- now that Pacquiao is safely signed up for another fight not involving Mayweather.

This is the only real public relations tactic Floyd has left at this point. He's becoming irrelevant. He's aging. He's inactive. He knows Pacquiao is holding the cards. There's no real big fight out there for him now except Pacquiao and he probably doesn't want, and wont get, that fight.

So what does he do now? What's left in the bag of tricks?

Exactly what you're seeing at this moment. Cheap ploys that seem like something a sixth-grade wannabe bully would try against a rival.

This is who Floyd Mayweather is at this moment. This is all he has left. And this is probably the way he will end up leaving the sport until and unless Manny Pacquiao loses a fight. Save for that -- or Arum thinking he can cherry-pick a diminishing Floyd -- this is likely about as good as it is going to get for Floyd Mayweather for the rest of his boxing career.

Time for Pac to tweet the booing for the decision after the Reggie Sanders four rounder. Sometimes I score that two rounds to two, sometimes three to one, but who cares now? Floyd went on to become great, Sanders noone in the boxing world. What does a loss matter when you improve?

Just want to see the look on Floyd's face whent the first couple of straight lefts sneak through his guard, regardless of what happens the rest of the fight.

You clown. Half of what Pac is famous for is beating guys that Mayweather beat when they were better and first.

Pac is the parasite. A parasite that couldn't exist if casual fans weren't as dumb as you. :hey

He is famous for? Clottey? Margarito? Cotto? Yes, those are the fights he is famous for. You're a moron.

Wrong. It has nothing to do with his race. You would like it to be because that ignorant thinking is what rules your world.

Strong disagree, he's famous for not just defeating them, but beating them into hamburger.

Pacquiao is clearly p4p #1 and fighter of the decade.

Floyd is just doing what his idol, DLH, used to do...keep his name out there to stay relevent. Nothing more then Floyd trying to get back into the limelight.

It's over. I'm sorry "your guy" lost this whole showdown. Maybe Shane Mosley or someone else will help you, Floyd and other Floyd fans "beat" Pacquiao indirectly. Good luck with that.

Floyd had the stage, and he lost it. No one to blame but himself for that. But it's definitely Manny World now.

No, the meat was quite tender or drained before he got it on his plate.

Pac is NOT P4P and no way he rates being fighter of the decade. It is a sham. How can you be FOTD when you duck drug testing, got your socks boxed off and KTFO in 3?

More like hype job and PED user of the decade. :deal

Right... the "coward" fought them first and at the top of their game. Pacfraud fights them after other men break them. :deal
