For the sake of argument, let's say Mosley somehow manages to knock out Manny Pacquiao. What, if anything, would that do for Mayweather's legacy? Would the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight still move forward? It could happen. Margs had Pacquiao badly hurt in the 6th round I believe... Bottom line: what would it for Mayweather?
Mayweather would then see no need in fighting Pacquiao. Afterall, he'd have beat the guy who beat the guy. But it depends on how Mosley knocks Pacquiao out.... a) Is he behind on points, getting outclassed in every department, and then somehow lands a lucky shot which knocks Pac out cold? b) It’s a competitive fight, removing the notion of it being a mismatch, and then Mosley stops him. If it’s the first, then you’ll still get people demanding Mayweather to take Pacquiao on. But if it’s the second scenario, the fight will be dead.
Floyd would be embarassed for waiting another boxer to do what he should have done. In adittion, he would have spoiled his chance of making big money by facing Pac.
i dont think i ve even seen pacquiao outclass anybody in the ring. he mauls them, no doubt about it, but i personally wouldnt say he outclasses them. it's just not his style.
it could happen, buddy. he knocked out margs who had or has one of the most solid chins in boxing. stranger things have happened. like your birth.
Well he was outclassing Oscar, all be it a shot Oscar. He was toying with Margarito, too. But okay, not outclass, lets use beating the **** out for a more accurate description of what Pac tends to do to his opponents.
if that happens it dnt make it halal in mayweathers eyes. pacquiao will still take steroids according to him and they wont fight as pacquiao will still be scared of needles
for me, class has more to do with skill and ring generalship than natural ability. mayweather outclassed marquez. he didnt bully him or anything. u see what i mean?
