This is a terrible fight a truly terrible fight.

This is another one of Haye's 'showfights'. Just like Audley people will lap this up; Povetkin is a shell of his former self & can't believe this fight is being met with the tepid distain that it is currently.

99% of the fans out there will never know the story behind Povetkin of late they'll only know he won gold and went pro and is undefeated. they'll never know he ducked the Klits constantly and has been getting progressively worse under Teddy Atlas. In their minds he will still be this undefeated wonderboy.

Pitiful attempt by team Haye to further exploit the Uk fans.

Not gonna ***** about this one but give props to Haye if he takes on Povetkin, an excellent HW prospect, but I want to hear everyone's opinion what on Earth happened to Sacha. I've seen all but maybe 3-4 fights of his, and he's downhill every since he hooked up with Atlas. Sure he had some defensive issues and some amateurish things to get rid of, but watching the Byrd and Chambers fight, he looked a lot more ready than 9 out of 10 Klitschko opponents. I wonder just WTF happened.

    - Is Atlas really that bad?
    - Loss of confidence?
    - Injury?
    - Personal issues?
    - Early aging?
    - Bad habits?
    - A combination of these?

How can someone so impressive become so unimpressive without a loss is hard to understand, there must be something going on. Anyway, hope he'll shine in this one, because on his game, he has an excellent chance to win.

protip: in order to be washed up you actually have to be good in the first place.

It's funny that people are writing Povetkin off now that the fight may actually happen. Look at the poll about the fight, when it was just a potential fight that wasn't on the horizon. Povetkin is winning that poll, something like 52/48. Now it seems that the fight is close, a lot of people are desperate to say how bad Povetkin is.

Anyway, Haye would KO any version, if you want to believe he is past his prime.

I think it is a good fight and Haye will deserve credit for the fight.

    IF IT HAPPENS

what happened to wanting to leave a legacy?

its a decent fight, but if this is haye's last or next to last fight its utterly pointless, either fight the klits or **** off

Normally we have to wait till after the fight's for people to discredit Haye, funny how people seemed to think a couple of months back it was a perfectly reasonable fight for wlad to fight him but not Haye I wonder why this is ?

I agree with the bolded. Anyway I'm writing Povetkin off because I saw his last fight on the Lebedev-Huck card, very very mediocre. Honestly I feel like Arreola looked sharper in his last fight. Can't believe I'm typing that...
