He looks able to see clearly out of that left eye, and was able to make Ali miss right before the stoppage. Some referees just can't stand the sight of blood. However, with over nine rounds to go, Cooper might have eventually collapsed from blood loss and needed a transfusion if this one had continued on. (The Ricardo Cardona-Soo-Hwan Hong gore fest was just such a bloodbath. Taking place in Hong's native Seoul, Cardona opened him up early. However, the referee was afraid to stop the bout because another referee who recently stopped a match on cuts against a hometown favorite there was nearly killed by the incensed crowd. Hong had tremendous heart, so it continued with Cardona pecking away at the incisions, until Hong, very noticeably slowed from blood loss, finally waved it off himself in round 12.)

I see no reason why Ol 'Enry could not continue.
It looks like a minor paper cut.

Cries of 'fix, fake, fraud' were heard throughout the United Kingdom.

Many of the blood donating fans with AB positve were lined up in Henry's corner
    to help out............

The quips below are funny, but in 55 fights Cooper was only stopped on cuts 4 times.

His KO loss to Floyd Patterson was brutal...........

Also, proof that Joe Bugner could not punch, Ol Enry goes 15 easy.

Interestingly, for someone with such a reputation as a bleeder, based off the two Clay/Ali fights, i do struggle to recall other fights where Henry was stopped on cuts. certainly once he became ranked, his chin seemed to be the greater vunerability when stepping into world class. Who else stopped Henry on Cuts ?

    Uber Bacilieri and Peter Bates.
The other defeats were clean knock outs or stopped after punches.

    Didn't INGO flat-out Knock-Out ENRY.

And Joe Bygraves did it too, with a body shot.
