    Yes and No.

It was the obvious fight at 140, but they defitnately JUMPED on it without hesitation after the Mayweather disaster and the Lazcano near disaster.

Hatton's skills hadn't deteriorated, it was his punch resistance that had gone and Malignaggi was never going to expose that due to his lack of power, which is why I said "a good choice of opponent for any big puncher"

Also Malignaggi's corner threw the towel in against Hatton even though he was less damaged than he was in the Cotto fight.

 He'll just deny it. That thread magically along with "What will *******s say when Pac loses to DLH" disappeared after Uliuli asked mods to change his name and erase certain threads. :rofl

Im on the fence Floyd dealt out a bad beating and Lazcano made matters worse but Hatton beat a top flight contender in Paulie so its hard to say

but Hatton was no bum and was also given a good chance prefight so no it wasnt

    What's with the date? :patsch

Please don't tell me you think the Lazcano fight was before the Mayweather fight???! ****ing ****. :-(

After the Mayweather KO we just assumed Mayweather was that much better than him. But after the Lazcano fight, we saw his punch resistance had deteriorated. Lazcano nearly knocked him out moron. :patsch

Unsure, whats certain is they knew Hatton was well on the decline and no longer the same force of old (totally different fight altogether if Hatton was prime) after seeing the Lazcano fight and it was obviously taking it out of Hatton making 140 at this point as seen at the weigh in.
