Nacho Dumps Maidana after 1 day of training

I would have consulted with Marquez before taking on Maidana.

That was Rafael's side of the story.......there is another part to it that came before the actual departure.
......Rafael was already at odds with Nacho because Nacho had made it public his displeasure of Rafael not being as dedicated and disciplined in training.

......of course, no fighter would want to here his trainer say that, and so Rafael lashes out at Nacho for not putting in the same time with him that he did for JMM.


.....and thats how it went......while Rafael talked to the media and dissed Nacho.......Nacho let it be and let the fire fizzle.
Personally I'm of the thinking that Nacho views both Marquez bros. like sons, and he was'nt about to get into a flame throwing contest through the media......and so he just let Rafael walk.

One of Nacho's own assistants and one of his former World champions took the task of guiding and training Rafael, so I think Nacho was content with letting it be that way.

floyd sr trained hatton for 2 whole fights. Nacho didnt even train maidana for 1 session. But it was ****ed how floyd sr left hatton alone in the ring after he was ktfo, that is cold

JMM is a disgrace to this sport and so is Nacho. Every fighter that had fought under Nacho is tainted in my eyes.

 

I think thats it, I mean its pretty obvious, that theyre 2 guys around the same weight where a potential matchup is possible so why would you want your trainer working for him?

If he was some other dude in a different weight class I dont think it would matter

Damn. Low move. I guess the only reasoning for it would be like said here that he might be looking at him as a future opponent. I have wanted to see JMM-Maidana since the Khan fight. Test the waters at 140 and it would be another FOTY for JMMs collection.
