Would the Klitschko's be top ten fighters in the 70's?

Foreman and Ali would be a nice test.

Norton?:rofl He had no Chin and was a slow starter and fought small he bended at the waist giving away his height. He would get demolished. Roy Williams? :patsch Get out of here with that garbage. Jerry Quarry would get tore the **** up by Vitali Klitschko. Nobody has ever outboxed Vitali Klitschko not even Byrd or Lewis but you think Jimmy Young would?

I am all for nostalgia and stuff but not one of those guys you listed with the exception of those I listed in my previous post would give Vitali Klitschko problems style wise he is a nightmare for anyone other than Ali, Frazier, Foreman and maybe Holmes.

jumping in here but yes, of course he would be. if you look at the ring rankings throughout the 70s, there's plenty of fighters vitali should and would be rated well higher than.

wow. I'm sorry to tell you but vitali was never a true power puncher. those are the guys that stop norton. Williams was very good. quarry good too. byrd and Lewis were both past it. prime young was better then those versions espescially Byrd
lol. they definitely would give them problems. to say that vitali just bulldozes thru them is bull****. I'm not being nolstolgic wither. that's how it is. If I was being nostalgic I'd say Sullivan stops vitali. they are much better then ALL the opposition the klits ever faced. absolutely no comparison. we don't even know if the klits can take these kind of opponents

He beat a prime Ali, a tall guy with an ATG jab and great movement too (which neither Klit has)

Easy to hate on Joe for his losses, but did he lose to anyone as **** as Sanders, Brewster or Byrd? I think not.

Not saying he'd definately beat the Klits but I wouldn't dismiss his chances at all, Joe was a great fighter in his prime.

He hasn't lost a round since 2001? Really?

He's fought nothing but bums for the most part and has been KO'd twice in the last decade, nothing to shout about. I seem to remember Brock took a couple of rounds off him at least even though WALDO was in this mythical 'prime' that seems to have materialised since he started only fighting people that couldn't punch for ****.

There is no comparison between what WALDO has been doing for the last few years and what the guys in the 70's did...NONE.

The version of Ali that fought Frazier did not use movement though. He used very sparse movement and it is why Frazier swelled his face up like a balloon on one side.

Vitali has/had enough power to stop Norton. I am not even going to discuss Williams might as well say Tex Cobb would compete with Vitali. I am not saying these fighters were not good I love Quarry but he would get completely dismantled and beaten to a bloody pulp. Youngs claim to fame is hanging in there with a very past Prime Ali and making Foreman gas. That is it. Yes Young was crafty but he simply does not have the power or work rate to beat Vitali Klitschko.

It's funny reading posts by people that don't know nothing about boxing, do you even know Frazier was only down one less time than Waldimir in his career?
but Wald has a glass jaw, and Frazier's is made of steel,
come back when you know something about boxing.

    That's Ali's fault, not Frazier's.

I also recall the ref saving him from going down in the 2th Ali fight. that would have made him equal with Wald. But Waldimir's a bum and Frazier is an ATG.

There it is! Nine out of ten boxing fans think the Klitschkos would hold their own in the
    greatest era....
