Take another hit off the crack pipe.........they would have never beaten Shavers or Ron Lyle.....Scott LeDoux would have hammered their ass. The major problem with the commie brothers is they have no chin.....and can only fight for 3 rounds.

Never said it was and it was not a knock on Frazier either you can only fight what is available.

Was just pointing out that post exile Ali once he found out he could take a good punch did not use his previous movement near as much. :good

That version of Ali tried to use movement, and it failed. Several reasons for that but the upshot is that Joe Frazier is the first man that ever defeated a close to prime Ali, who even if you don't agree was the greatest ever was definately top 3.

I get upset when Klit-ites dismiss him because he was a shorter HW and lost to monster punchers and master boxers. Joe Frazier was a great HW.

I never said Frazier had an iron chin :huh

Having said that, look at who Frazier got dropped by, then look at who WALDO got dropped by, and then **** off with your 'know nothing about boxing' bollocks

Can't wait for your next post when you tell me an ancient Sanders hit harder than a prime Foreman :nut

True enough....but Frazier still beat him up, and dropped him and beat him on points.

List a Klitschko achievement that matches that and then I'll start to agree with the line that completely dismisses Joe as a challenge to either brother. I'm not saying Joe would win incidentally, I'm just saying he was no bum.

Of course they'd be top ten guys.

Do you really think they are inferior to the likes of Sonny Liston (probably actually in his 40s in 1970), Floyd Patterson (in his mid to late 30s), Joe Bugner, Jose Roman, Duane Bobick, Chuck Wepner, Lorenzo Zanon, Leon Spinks, etc..

Wladimir doesn't exactly have a sturdy chin...but have you seen Zanon's chin?

The fact that the commie brothers are champs shows just how poor the division is now........they would be lucky to be considered contenders in the 70's HW picture.

I have never criticized Joe Frazier or said either Klitschko would beat him. You are too obsessed with the Klitschko's. I gave Frazier credit and all just due for his win and all you want to talk about is the Klitschko's.

I hold Frazier in very high regard as anyone should.

I've come to the conclusion that Klitschko fans HATE boxing!

They are always more than willing and eager to descreate and disrespect every boxing great legacy to somehow prop the Klits up. I bet my bottom dollar they would burn down the boxing HOF just to prop the Klits up to be some kind of undeserved ATG status.

    It's sickening.:-(

The problem is it is not how you look, but how you fight.....the Klit brothers would have been lucky to get a title shot back in the 70's....and they would not have beaten any of the guys who held the title. Ali beats them, so does Frazier. Foreman murders them.......Hell Leon Spinks of the first Ali fight would have made them both quit on the same night.......Neither one of them beats Jimmy Young....they are not beating Larry Holmes....not gonna beat Norton........Shaver and Lyle KO them.....so who are the Klits brother going to get the title from? I'll tell you where, in a box of Cr*cker Jacks is where they will get their title belt from in the 70's.
