All my compas, for the most part, are casual fans and they all prefer Canelo over JR, and by a longshot too. Most view JR as all hype from his dads name and him just beating a bunch of tomato cans (and struggling with some of them)...You know, La mera neta :hey

I guess some casual fans are more knowledgeable than others.. Ive heard people who fall for Chavez jr record and think hes the next big thing. You know the type of unknowldgeable ones that think Butterbean was a top contender:lol:

I've only met one person who thought highly of JR, and he truly believed that JR would be the one to stop Pacman. Me and all of my other compas just laughed at him.

I got the feeling he dont have a Mexican chin:lol: But i do think he's a real good fighter. If he ends up having a good chin he will go a long way.

Yey those are the guys that just hear that hes JCs son and they assume hes good without seeing him fight.... I remember my Uncle was hyped up about him, but when he actually saw his fight on the Pac-Cotto undercard he switched over to a Chavez Jr hater and called him a bum:lol:

Yeah that's exactly right the only reason camacho jr had a career was because of the name.. they fought in different weight classes but both are bums with famous names.

Actually at one time Camacho Jr was talented but he dont have balls(see Leija fight along with others) or dedication. Camacho was a decent contender at one time but fell apart once he stepped up..

What would you consider a "Bum"? Id say Chavez JR is low level top 10 or 15 (not a bum) and i think he will improve.

After the Duddy fight, i thought JR might actually improve, being with Roach and all, but after his last fight i pretty much lost all faith in him. Him getting the WBC belt from Zbik wont change my opinion, that belt will only make him a paper champion.

Other then the name what did camacho jr or chavez jr for that matter done to be label a contender.

When you start out with a high level of hype do to your name is easy to become a contender. All you need to do is fight low level fighters and look some what good doing it and the media will run with the hype and a lot of fans buy into it.

At some point you need to step up your competition, when it was time to do that camacho jr crumbled and chavez jr will too. But he's a lot smarter he rather keep fighting low level guys and keep cashing in.

Chavez jr hasnt fought a top 50 guy in his career that's a bum to me. As soon as he steps up in competition his hype machine will die and he will be exposed as a fraud. A fraud that made millions thanks to stupid fans that believe in fairy tales.

And he wont improve much, he's 25yrs old already he is what he is.l
