anyone think the reason Mayweather demanded testing was because he knows himself that Pacquiao isn't clean because he (Mayweather) himself has been using?!

 

But there are unexpected tests in boxing as well right? Khan had to do one recently if I remember correctly. Just random test them once in a while in off season and it makes taking peds much riskier to get caught.

 

i think they let you know a week in advance for that one.

No but you can mask it, although most masking agents are illegal and people end up getting caught, if there are designer PED's i'm sure there are designer masking agents.

When too many miracles happen in a sport, you know something is happening.

 

Every professional sport will always have PEDs. When you combine pressure to perform, big money and male egos, there will always be people after that edge and people willing to supply it.

 

Boxing is riddled with drug use and boxing, boxing commisions and even boxers themselves have no desire to clean the sport up. That is the said truth.

WADA World Anti-Doping Agency which runs not for profit and overseas drug testing in virtually ever major sport and major sports events in the world, tried for years to work with boxing organistions to help clean the sport up. They were rejected at every turn by every agaency normally with the excuse that it would bankrupt the sport. although far less wealthy sports do employ WADA to do their drug checks. Because WADA is not for profit it is impossible to have a system as sophisticated as theirs at a cheaper price.

In the end after years of trying WADA told all the professional boxing organisation to get stuffed and have since refused to deal with them. WADA has since stated that it will only deal with professional boxing when there is a clear organisational pyramid in which the different organisations fit.

I may just be copying whats been said already as i have read the posts after this but reality is, for the right ppl, positive readings are still buried anyhow so as long as there's a demand for it or new technology, there's always another Victor Conte around the corner. I may be incorrect on my facts here so forgive if i am, i had read the only reason the BALCO scandal happened was a well known athletes partner dropped the dime by handing a contaminated syringe to one of the dope testing sites and allegedly suggested that they look at it?

 

this was how they found out about THG. A compound designed by Conte himself. Totally untraceable. if you have no knowledge of it, how can you test for it if all platforms in the compound are completely different and work different to commonly used PEDs.
